Gaumukh Temple The Gaumukh Temple is located 2 km away from Mount Abu and is considered to be site where sage Vashistha performed a big yajna (fire sacrifice). The shrine takes its name from a natural spring here, which flows through the mouth of a sculpted cow. The water of this spring is believed to have medicinal properties.

Air : The nearest Airport is in Udaipur, 207 km away. Daily flight form Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur are available to Udaipur. One can easily hire a taxi from the airport for the final lap.
Rail :Abu Road is the nearest railway station and is about 29 kms from Mount Abu. It is situated on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Ajmer-Jaipur-Delhi route. From Abu Road one can take a jeep, taxi or bus to Mount Abu.
Road :Udaipur is 156 km away, via Palanpur; Jodhpur is 235 km away, via Sirohi and Pali; Jaipur is 509 km away via Pali-Ajmer and Ahemdabad is 222 km away. Mount Abu is connected to all the major towns in Northern and Western India.
